End of Chilblains

Haven't posted in a while so forced to just write some more random thoughts. Not very funny and not always cheery, just MY random thoughts. So if the blog about the area drought where the crescent valley begins offended you, then just put the milk down and walk away.

Alrighty, well the chilblains on my feet are going away... finally after about two months. What are chilblains? Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilblain
The picture on Wikipedia is pretty similar to what both my feet looked like. Ahhh... good times. Stay away from hot showers when its the weather's in the 30s. They feel great but man they wreck your toes.

Other happenings; I've had a few interviews recently so the ratio is about 5 interviews to 30 applications including some fun ones like secretary at the DEA, IRS agent, social security agency rep. The other more serious ones are academic advisor, materials specialist, and adult education hotline operator. Yeah... that'll be a fun one.

"Hello. Adult Education Hotline."
"Hi... so what are you wearing?"
"Ummm.. sir, this is for people wanting an education."
"Yeah, and I've been a bad boy... are you going to teach me a lesson?"

This is why I shouldn't type random thoughts while sipping vintage 3-buck Chuck (used to be 2 bucks but inflation).

Some other fun random thoughts:
1) I normally don't dream. When I have enough wine, I dream. When I dream, I actually wake up more rested even despite less sleep. Interesting... I guess this means I'm probably repressed. I've heard dreams are good peepholes into the subconscious but it's not all sunshine and flowers in there, y'know? After all, Nietzsche did say: "Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."

2) I think I'm... anal. I've twice caught myself describing my organization style and thinking that geez, I sound like it. I'm not anal. I'm methodical; like a surgeon; who lays all their knives in ascedning size and categorized by shape and function; and all the handles must be the same color lest they beget their own category.

3) Been watching Russell Peters at a fellow asian's house. I found it funny that asians gather and watch comedy, not about Latinos or blacks, but about Indians... not the wah-wah kind, but the *dot* ones. Must be a math envy thing. You're stealing all the engineering and computer programming jobs from hard working asian kids!!

4) Last one... time flies when you're unemployed. Today is already Thursday. Where did the week go? You know what they say, "Time flies like an arrow and fruit flies like a banana."
