The (ignore between here) Bare Essentials

Alright then, I forgot to say anything useful last time so here's the bare essentials:

Leaving January 15th with Hawaiian (did I mention they suck now, damn local monopoly!) at 1:30pm(c).

Flying to SeaTac and landing at 9pm(c) and having a friend pick us up who lives in Lynnwood. Lynnwood is north of Seattle and it's just recently hit the 90's in term of culture. (Yep, so they're watching Beavis and Butthead, listening to Supermodel by RuPaul, and dancing to the Macarena and Achy Breaky Heart. Wow... was the 90's that lame?!)

Anyhow, after a day or so we're then going to pick up our car in Tacoma courtesy of Horzion Lines (covered transportation and they don't raise their surcharges every time an Arab sneezes or they don't have a worker strike every other year like Matson).

We're then driving (our smug-emitting Pious) down to Portland where we plan to nestle in with the Changs (hopefully they have more than one bed or nestling might be awkward... I have a thing about hugging, except for my wonderful, smart, smiley wife who also reads this blog and over my shoulder).

From there, (we shiver, stay dry, and wait till spring) we get jobs and look for a place to live. We're looking in Sellwood. More on this later.

Oh, the cat? Hopefully he doesn't develop an addiction to kitty narcotics cause we're going to have to drug him up for the plane ride and maybe for the 6-8 hour drive from Lynnwood to Portland. Can't have a kitty tearing around the car while I'm coasting 50+mpg (it's not about speed in a Pious).
