Good day today. Yay.
Took the day off Friday. Was the third day of having nausea (guess it wasn't IKEA chicken) and had a fever. Slept about 13 hours and felt good. Worked on thesis most of the day and had a nice massage with Karen in the evening. Masseuse said parts of me were very tense. I wonder why...?
Saturday: Biked 14 miles in the pouring rain today. I loved it. The river was flowing nicely, there were over 150 ducks swimming, and the bike path goes right by Heron Lakes Golf course. Best of all, quiet... just me, the ducks, and some golfers.
Also exciting, I woke up with an answer to some of my thesis problems. Made very good progress today. I finally made the spiral-cut ham bought from Costco and used a variation of an Alton Brown recipe for glaze: 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup ginger snap cookies, 1/4 cup mustard powder. Good stuff. First ham I ever made... hard to screw up pre-cooked ham... but I was proud. That'll do pig.
Lastly, anyone ever consider Colemak or Matron keyboards? I've always wondered if those setups are better than qwerty.
