A short thought today:
Lotion is important. There never was much need for lotion in Hawaii but I thought I was ready for Portland weather: I lotioned my face and my hands.
Recently, I noticed that there was an inordinate about of white flakes on the inside liner of my pants. It seems you have to lotion your legs too even though they are not exposed. No problem... I lotion my shins.
An extreme example of this phenomena (Parents, cover your kids' eyes):
So there is a problem of chapped lips where the weather is drier: no problem, I use chap stick.
However, I have a different chapped problem that somewhat resembles the chap-prone area where your lips meet at the end of your mouth... in the southern backyard, in the general locale of where the Crescent Valley begins. No... I'm not talking about where the path to the Holy Grail begins. The point is that I'm just saying that using lotion is important...
Everywhere.
