Our stuff in the U-Haul truck. It was tiring (notice Todd's expression).
Todd putting together IKEA furniture. This is the kitchen cart since there's not a whole lot of counter space.
A picture of our bathroom with a happy froggy bathmat.
Now, a whole bunch of moving in pictures of our place. (As we dropped off our boxes and started unpacking. More pictures to follow once we take them. Haha)
A super nerdy picture of Todd playing XBox. (Earphones on so Karen can study. The cat finds Todd's lap very comfortable.)
The cat is a lot colder here, so he tends to be somewhat of a heat whore. He likes laps.
Karen's a genius. Notice the placement of the bookshelves she put in after Todd told her to put the shelves in. She thought she needed to put the shelves above the guide shelf... She knew it looked funny but wasn't sure how to fix it...
It snowed on Tuesday (Feb. 10), as you can see from our bedroom window.
About 9am on Tuesday morning from our living room sliding door.
Then about 3pm Tuesday afternoon from the same sliding door.
A cute picture of the cat in his cat house. He's a good hand-me-down kind of kitty.
Todd just thought this was funny. We saw it for sale at Fred Meyer's baby aisle.
We took the Changs out for brunch on Sunday as a thank you for their moving help. We saw this tree door and thought it cute, funny, and very Portland. Although it made us think of "To Kill a Mockingbird."
Todd, being handy and thrifty (a great comination), decided to make us a digital antenna so that we can watch tv. He found instructions on the internet and spent part of Wednesday and Thursday making the antenna. It's pretty good. "Grey's Anatomy" looked way better then last week's (not digital antenna) and we even can watch "South Park." But... if the cat feels like running around a bunch as he is apt to do, or Karen stomps around as she is also apt to do, then the picture can cut out.
Here's a picture of Todd working on the wire things that go on the antenna. He kind of looks like a migrant Chinese worker. Not too far off the mark since he migrated, wants to work, and is part (a very small part) Chinese. He needed to do most of the work outside and it was cold (about 42 degrees) so the mask is as much about heat as it is about not inhaling possibly hazardous materials.
