It's been awhile

Alright, so I've slacked a bunch of this blog. To recap:
1) Christmas in Hawaii. Nice, warm, and full of golfing. Ate a bunch, except my one regret was not eating a Spicy Ahi Bowl. Was barely able to get onto plane, had to reweigh baggage like 5 times before it worked out.

2) New Years Eve spent at home. Wife and I slept about 12 hours. Sweeeet...
3) Flat tire at Swan Garden Restaurant. Parked in restaurant parking lot to fix flat tire, Chinese owner didn't like it since "not paying customer." Long story short, I changed the tire, the police threatened to forcibly restrain the owner. Happy ending: Costco exchanged the tire for free.
4) Got awersome bass from my dad. Ernie Ball Stingray with BassLine humbuckers with enough chutzpah to make Samson consider Rogain. Not sure what that meant, but anyway, spent about 3 hours restoring the thing and it's beautiful. I had to apologize to my wife because I told the guitar something that I never told her, "You're so beautiful, you'll make the other guys jealous."
5) Got first church music gig: playing for the high school group this Wednesday.
6) Had a mean stomach bug this weekend: didn't eat a real meal since then. Just been eating crackers and hummus.
7) New Years Resolutions (some of them): Cook more often (1x a week?), beat my wife to the dishes, have a more balanced outlook (my last post is a good example of dis-balance), and plan to buy a house in Portland.

More to come!

Btw: anyone can leave comments now. In case my relatives who don't want to login want to say anything.

Nice to hear things are looking up. Did it snow around your place? I need to make some resolution myself, I usually do but never get to it. We are doing okay and going to see Rheyden end of this month. The weather has been voggy and cloudy.

Take care.

your family? ha ha all 4 of us?!?!

Valdriz update: Rheyden speaks a grand total of 25 words now out of the 50 words he's supposed to be saying at his age. Slowly but surely. He also spits his food out like a cannon. Going to try the tobasco-on-the-tongue trick if he tries it again tomorrow. Marc still goes out/stays outside often, and I play farmville while he's out. Works out perfectly.

Laters..your sister
